    The United States-Tunisia Trade and Investment Council met on June 16, 2014, in Tunis to engage in an ongoing process toward increased trade and investment integration between the two economies, following up on discussions on that subject between President Obama and Prime Minister Jomaa in April.

    Approximately 30 students and teachers from throughout Tunisia attended a workshop organized by TEARN (Tunisian Education and Resource Network) in Hammamet. The workshop was sponsored in part by the Chris Stevens Youth Network and featured presentations by teachers and students on projects they had developed throughout the year.
