Applications for the 2009-2010 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program and for the Fulbright Science and Technology Award are now open.
The Humphrey Program is a one-year, full-scholarship program funded by the U.S. Department of State brings accomplished professionals from around the world to the United States at a midpoint in their careers for a year of study and related professional experiences. The program provides a basis for establishing lasting ties between citizens of the United States and their professional counterparts in other countries, fostering an exchange of knowledge and mutual understanding throughout the world.
The Fulbright Science and Technology Award is designed for outstanding Tunisian university students to study for a Ph.D. in science, technology, or engineering at top US institutions
Fellowships are granted competitively to professional candidates with a commitment to public service in either the public or private sector. To be eligible for a Humphrey Fellowship, applicants must have a first university degree, five years of substantial professional experience, demonstrated leadership qualities and a record of public service, fluency in English and limited or no prior experience in the U.S.
