Fulbright Foreign Student Program

                               

You are invited to apply for a Fulbright Scholarship sponsored by the United States Department of State and administered by AMIDEAST for the (2010 – 2011) and (2010 – 2012) academic years.

Purpose:

There are two different Fulbright scholarships available for Tunisian students. One scholarship provides successful candidates with an opportunity to complete a master's degree (for academic years 2010-2012). The second scholarship allows students enrolled in a doctoral program to conduct research in U.S. institutions of higher education for academic year (2010-2011).

Eligibility:

  • Nationality: All applicants must be of Tunisian nationality.
  • Outstanding students with excellent grades.
  • Research Proposal for PhD applicants.
  • Proficiency in English  as demonstrated by an Institutional TOEFL exam (ITP) score of  550 minimum

Application:

  • Completed online Application for Study available on AMIDEAST’s website: http://www.amideast.org/forms/fulbright/FulbrightFindOut.aspx
  • Completed Fulbright Program Word Application for Study in the United States form
  • Statement of Purpose describing the research project (for PhD applicants)
  • A certified copy of each diploma obtained, starting with the Baccalaureate
  • A certified copy of each original post-secondary transcript
  • 3 recent photos
  • Recent TOEFL (no more than 2 years old) or ITP score
  • 3 completed Fulbright Program Recommendation for Graduate Study forms to be filled out by your professors. All recommendations must be either submitted sealed and signed by your professors, or mailed directly by them to the following address: Attention to Educational Advisor  AMIDEAST, B.P. 351, Tunis-Belvedere, 1002

Deadline: June 1, 2009

All applications submitted online must also be accompanied with a Word copy of the application form. This application, alongside  the supporting documents, must be submitted to AMIDEAST NLT June 1, 2009 . Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
