Ambassador Godec visits Elloumi Group
March 19 - Tunis On March 18, United States Ambassador Robert F. Godec received a tour of two factories owned by the Elloumi Group, a Tunisian entity whose two main companies, Cofat and Coficab, manufacture wire harnesses and cables for the automobile industry. During his visit, he learned about the group’s worldwide operations and plans for future expansion.
Ambassador Godec commended the Elloumi Group for its success as a truly global Tunisian company, and was pleased to hear about the group’s 60-year trajectory. He also enjoyed learning that the Elloumi Group’s products are used by the United States automotive industry, and expressed his wish for the continuation of bilateral trade in this industry.
