JSTOR Database: An incredible New Resource Now Available at the Embassy's IRC
May 20 - (Tunis) Are you doing research and looking for information that is not readily available in print? The Information Resource Center (IRC) at the U.S. Embassy is the place to go. We now have an incredibly resource from JSTOR, a not–for–profit organization dedicated to helping the scholarly community discover, use, and build upon a wide range of intellectual content via a trusted digital archive.
JSTOR offers you a full text data base with a tremendous archive, articles in a wide range of subject areas: economics, history, gender studies, environment, governance, American literature, linguistics, you name it. It includes 1,856,206 full-length articles across 47 disciplines, and 1,387,437 book reviews. The oldest document in the JSTOR archive was published in 1665.
Along with other full text databases available at the IRC; such as PROQUEST, FACTIVA, NEXIS, FIRSTSEARCH, all your scholarly needs will be fulfilled at one location – the US Embassy Information Resource Center! Welcome, come and use it. It is worth the trip.
