U.S. Embassy Seeks Proposals for Humanitarian Cooperation Projects

Ambassador Robert F. Godec is pleased to announce that the U.S. Embassy’s
Humanitarian Cooperation Program is accepting project proposals for the 2008 fiscal year. Under this program, registered Tunisian associations dedicated to providing assistance to disadvantaged portions of the
population may request funding for new facilities to benefit those in need.
Funding allocated under this program, which ranges from TDN 25,000 to TDN 350,000 per project, supports new construction and related architectural and
engineering services. Eligible projects must be built on property owned by the Government of Tunisia and project proposals may only be submitted by registered Tunisian associations.
Proposals should include a full project description and a detailed budget of estimated construction and architectural and engineering costs. Project descriptions should outline the humanitarian need and the goals and the objectives to be met through the provision of new infrastructure.
Proposals must be submitted no later than April 2, 2008 to American Embassy, Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC), Les Berges du Lac, 1053 TUNIS.
