Embassy exchange program with Tunisian Scouts

Despite the efforts of a minority to destroy the long-standing friendship between the U.S.A. and Tunisia, we continue to build friendships and collaboration together. With support from the Wyoming State Partnership Program with Tunisia, the U.S. Embassy in Tunis, and the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), twenty two senior Tunisian Scouts and Guides conducted training, and enjoyed some mountain-style hospitality in the Salt Lake City area of the United States of America. The training focused on an exchange of ideas and best practices in the areas of organization, the merit badge system, and fundraising activities. In addition, during the week-long event, the Tunisian Scouts and Guides toured several Boy Scouts of America camps, enjoyed a Cowboy-style BBQ at the Lazy H Ranch in Morgan County Utah, visited the nearby Wyoming border, and were able to experience some time away from the city at a secluded mountain cabin.
